The location was very central. The tram station was a 10-minute walk away. The Blue Mosque area was also a 10-minute walk. The hotel was comfortable and like a home away from home. The staff were extremely friendly and they felt like family whilst we were there. Salim, the manager was super friendly and very helpful. He took so much time every morning to explain the history of where we were going to for the day and how to get there. He even greeted us outside as we left the hotel on our last day. Taarik who was there most of the nights was very respectful and helpful if we needed anything. Zainub, the lady who cooked the meals was sweet and kind. We got emotional greeting her when we left. Raano and all the other cleaners were helpful, kind and friendly too. There was a Turkish man who was helpful too and always greeted with a smile when he saw us. Will miss the staff at The Reina.

very happy from what I get from this hostel with this price it is in very good area and very close to tram station the breakfast was not something special but for this price was more than enough (and come one what everyone use to eat on his house everyday ) I would recommend it to friends the room was cleaning everyday but have in mind that you get what you pay and don't expect everything perfect

The host was kind, warm and a wonderful man and so were the staff. I can not praise them enough and they made our stay a memorable one. Istanbul is an amazing place and I would recommend everyone to visit. The most difficult decision we made was to go back home, all of my family wanted to stay and we have decided as a family that we will return. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming.

Perfect location in old city - 3-4 minute walk from Blue Mosque. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean with fantastic views of Sea. The housekeeper cleaned the room every day. Rooftop terrace has nice views. Breakfast was very good. If we come back again, we will definitely stay here again.

What we liked the most were hosts that were very helpful and kind as well as location that is literally 3 minute walk from Blue Mosque. We also had a problem in our room with toillete but hosts solved the problem in a mater od minutes, which is a big plus. All in all, good value for money if you are on a budget trip.
